The Role

Client Handling

  • Maintain an ongoing relationship with the client, looking for ways to upsell and being the first point of contact for support
  • Extensive experience in account management, strong project management skills, budgeting, planning and people management expertise
  • Strong technical understanding of .NET CMS frameworks, development teams and associated processes 
  • Manage the client on-boarding process for all new clients
  • A critical thinker with honed problem-solving skills

 

Business Development

  • Proactively manage new leads that the agency receives from prospect identification to contract implementation
  • Help create proposals and tenders that showcase the quality of our offering whilst ensuring commercial viability
  • Lead new pitches to clients including producing and leading client presentations
  • Excellent understanding of the industry trends, keeping abreast of the latest developments and their impact on the industry

 

Delivery

  • Take responsibility for liaising with the clients to help develop project scopes & provide accurate costings
  • Through requirement gathering, provide quality briefs t to the in-house teams and oversee the completion of work
  • Working internally with project managers and externally to ensure projects are delivered 
  • ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Account Manager, with a minimum of 4 years agency experience
  • Solid technical background - strong understanding of CMS frameworks, development lifecycles, agency & development processes
  • Impeccable communication and organisational with meticulous attention to detail
  • An understanding of internal project demands; working with multiple stakeholders and global teams
  • Ability to multitask with conflicting priorities received from across the business (varying departments/clients/internal company enhancement and improvement).
  • Autonomous nature & approach to work - self starter and ability to hit the ground running and lead self-driven initiatives
